Camshaft Regrinding in Tyabb, Victoria

At Two Bay Motors, we specialise in camshaft regrinding for British four- and six-cylinder classic engines. Our workshop in Tyabb, Victoria offers precision cam regrinds for:

  • MG — B-series, MGA, MGB and Midget

  • Triumph — Spitfire, TR series, and the 2000/2500 six-cylinder

  • Austin-Healey — the 100/4 four-cylinder and the "Big Healey" six

  • Jaguar — XK engines

  • Other British and European classics — get in touch to ask

We grind a full range of profiles, from standard replacement cams through to fast road specifications. If you're after a specific published grind, bring in your cam card or spec sheet, and we'll give you an honest assessment of whether we can grind it.

You keep your own camshaft

For a restoration where originality matters, that is the whole argument. Your cam, your numbers, reprofiled – not a reproduction billet from a catalogue.

You can talk to the person grinding it.

If the spec is wrong for your engine, we would rather tell you before we cut metal than take the money and let you find out on the road.

We can match what the intended use is.

If you're rebuilding and want the cam to suit the compression, head work and carburation you've already got, we can work backwards from that. Bring us the engine spec, and we'll tell you what profile fits — and just as importantly, what won't.

Below is our camshaft selector.
fill it in and then get in touch

We have been working on classic British cars for over forty years, and we run our own dyno — so if you want the cam ground and the engine tuned to suit it, that all happens under one roof.
